Social Media Strategy & Product Photography

My social media strategy extends beyond simple promotion—I focus on building genuine connections with my audience by incorporating pop culture references, bookish themes, and humor. Since my most popular products are book-related, I align my content with what resonates most with my audience. This approach has cultivated a vibrant and loyal community. I keep my followers engaged by sharing updates on new product launches, conducting polls to gather insights into their interests, encouraging them to tag me with their purchases for a chance to be reposted, and showcasing customer reviews from my shop.

designed with creativity and simplicity in mind. Inspired by an 'open tab' concept, it features intuitive navigation buttons that guide users to my shop, social media platforms, and a spotlight showcasing the latest and most popular products.

To celebrate reaching 30,000 sales, I hosted my first-ever Instagram giveaway as a thank-you to my audience. The prize included a reading journal, two reader stickers, and eight book posters. Participants simply had to follow my shop, like the post, tag friends (each tag was an entry), and share it on their stories. Open worldwide, the giveaway ran until April 15, 2024, with the winner chosen at random and announced on my Instagram story. This fun initiative boosted engagement, expanded my reach, and strengthened my connection with the community.

My Pinterest page has also been a key driver of engagement, currently attracting 3.1 million monthly views. I use it to repost my products and create themed "aesthetic mood boards" that appeal to a broad audience. These boards, inspired by specific themes like girly aesthetics, align with products such as my 'girly' journals and bookmarks, drawing in those who aspire to a Pinterest-perfect lifestyle. I also create boards inspired by books, featuring my custom book posters as board covers and mood boards that capture the story’s essence. This strategy attracts book lovers seeking the aesthetic of their favorite reads and guides them directly to my shop, merging inspiration with product promotion effectively.
